FOOD FOR FAMILIES*
WEDNESDAYS APPOINTMENTS ONLY
With your Wednesday appointment we provide seven days’ worth of healthy, nutritious food for the entire household. The guest selects from our extensive menu of food items available that day. Grocery items including frozen meats, fresh fruits and vegetables, Panera bread and varying grocery items. Included with your Wednesday appointment are the five programs below.
CLOTHING & GOODS
WEDNESDAYS APPOINTMENTS ONLY
Guests generally take home two head-to-toe outfits of clothing per household member and other household goods. On average we see about ten items of clothing selected for each guest visit.
UTILITY ASSISTANCE
WEDNESDAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY
Harvest House can contribute a maximum of $50.00 assistance towards a client's utility Cut Off Notice. You must have a paper bill that shows
‘Disconnect Notice’ on the bill. We can often show the guest how to get the balance paid through help from other agencies.
TRANSPORT HELP
WEDNESDAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY
When a client has a job interview or medical appointment, but does not have transportation to and from that appointment, Harvest House can provide bus tokens to enable the client to attend the appointment. We verify the appointments before assistance is given.
INFANT SERVICES
WEDNESDAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY
The Infant Services Program provides diapers, blankets, clothing and other basic necessities for infants and toddlers from newborn through age three, based on availability of items each week. A Wednesday appointment is necessary, and we take referrals from other agencies.
VISION CARE
WEDNESDAY APPOINTMENTS ONLY
Clients who need prescription eyeglasses are able to access an appointment with a local optometrist for a free eye exam. A wide selection of frames are available for the client to choose their preference.
EMERGENCY GROCERIES*
MONDAY- THURSDAY 1-4PM
A prepacked selection of groceries are available for walk-in clients who need emergency food help. No appointment needed.
Emergency groceries are available Monday through Thursday, from 1pm to 4 pm.

*Harvest House sources some of its food from CFBEO as part of their administration of the USDA TEFAP Program. In accordance with Federal civil rights law and U. S. To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete a Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form which can be obtained online here, from any USDA office, by calling (866) 632-9992, or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
